A press conference was held today at the Wynn Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas to announce the September 15, 2012 WBC world middleweight title fight between Julio Caesar Chavez Jr. and Sergio Martinez. This world title fight will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center and broadcasted live on HBO Pay Per View.
The participants at today's press conference are excited about this highly anticipated world middleweight title fight.
Co-Promoter Bob Arum - "I am excited to be partnering with our friends at the Wynn Hotel & Casino for this world middleweight title fight."
Co-Promoter Lou Dibella - "Chavez Jr. vs Martinez is a great fight. Boxing needs more fights where the best boxers fight each other."
